The city of Antioch’s Office of Emergency Services has opened two cooling centers through Wednesday to help folks who have nowhere to get out of the excessive heat.

The Antioch Senior Center located at 415 W. Second Street is available for all senior citizens from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Nick Rodriquez Community Center located at 215 ‘F’ Street is available for all citizens and ages and will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Stay cool, folks!
