Maybe the Republicans listed above who are supporting McNearney should consider his unconstitutional positions regarding 2nd Amendment issues before casting their all-important vote for him. I spoke with McNearney at one of his "Congress at Your Corner" meetings and he seemed to believe that the 2nd Amendment has something to do with hunting, while at the same time saying he would support just about every anti-gun law under the sun. Does he really understand his sworn "oath of office" to protect and defend the US Constitution?

McNearney is also weak on illegal-immigration, which is not only an important national security issue but also a major concern for voters of Congressional District 11. Any representative that supports amnesty for law-breakers and tax-payer funded government hand-outs for illegal-immigrants would never get my vote.

In 2006 Democrats were elected to bring about "change." Does anybody remember that? What have they done? NOTHING AT ALL!

Is this the "Change We Can Believe In?" I don't think so!

Restore the Republic! Liberty or Death! Don't Tread On Me! The Constitution is the solution!

This reminds me of 1996 when a number of local elected Republicans lined up against then 2nd term Congressman Bill Baker. It was quite a sight to watch old Bill scramble for votes. He was even asking his old moderate Republican enemies to help him. In the end he went down in flames and left Lynne Leach to carry the torch of conservatism in Contra Costa. Now the Remnants of Baker/Leach are rallying for one last struggle to take back the 11th congressional district.
Everything is on Dean Andal to bring back that old time religion. Underfunded and out of gas it will take everything the old guard has to bring a conservative seat back to the Bay Area. I look forward to watching this titanic struggle unfold.
