I don't believe that there were any "nominations" at the Rally for the Republic, however they did have several well-known speakers in attendance. Ron Paul is the leader of the Campaign for Liberty, but does not need a nomination from the organization because he was the one who started it!

Ron Paul is quite a man! He raised millions of dollars ($6.1 million in 1 day) for his presidential campaign, and when he came up short, he put the money into an organization that promotes constitutional education for the people, candidate training and familiarization courses, political awareness functions and a whole host of other things. When was the last time a presidential candidate did someyhing like that?

Ask yourself... Am I concerned with the direction of this country? Will we maintain our Constitutional Republic? Are we going to protect liberty? Are we going to follow the rule-of-law and the Constitution?

These are the big issues facing this country and they will require a re-education of a whole new generation. That's waht the Campaign for Liberty is all about!

I hope everybody enjoyed both Conventions! Even though we all knew Obama would receive the nomination of the Democratic Party and McCain would get the nomination of the GOP, tax-payers still paid over $30 million.

Did anyone hear about the Campaign for Liberty's Rally for the Republic? They had 15,000 people there and that didn't cost us a dime!

I think a heartfelt and sincere speech, content-wise, but deadly dull delivery. I probably would have voted for McCain back in 2000, but at this point he is past his sell-by date and is no longer his own man, having sold out to the extremist dead-enders of his party for one last shot at his ambition.

Gov. Palin earned her "Sarah Barracuda" nickname in her speech. She's not my cup of tea on the social issues, but she's really good. I thought McCain's speech was a snoozer, not just the delivery, but the content too. Way too much biography stuff, before and during the speech. Throughout the convention, it seemed like I was watching "The Military Channel." That huge flag constantly waving on the big screen made me dizzy. It looked like the flag that swallowed Milwaukee.
