Forgive our confusion, but who is running for president?

By Lisa Vorderbrueggen

The Hidalgo jewely company sent out an email advertisement for its enamel campaign rings including this one one the right for supporters of Democratic nominee Barack Obama. (Cost $1,350 for enamel and gold ring plus $1,260 for the diamonds and gold guards.)

And the second one?

Here’s a clue: It’s not GOP nominee John McCain.

This lovely red, diamond-crusted bling on the right honors veep nominee Sarah Palin.

Now, who exactly is running against Obama?

  • John W.

Well, Sarah did make a joint campaign appearance with that other person today; and, in her remarks, spoke about what would happen in a Palin-McCain administration. Oops!
