Martinez treasurer puts his name up in lights

The neighbors must think Christmas has come waay too early.
Charles Martin, a candidate for city treasurer in Martinez, put his name in lights across his entire front lawn in a Martinez suburban neighborhood.
“VOTE CHARLES MARTIN” it declares along with a big lit American flag and a check mark.
In case other candidates decided to take a cue from Martin’s tactic, be fowarned: This is so much more expensive than a regular lawn sign.
