Rep. Ellen Tauscher, D-Alamo, was re-elected this afternoon to serve as the Northern California regional whip. She will serve as the liaison between House Democratic leaders and members of the Northern California congressional delegation.

“I am honored to have been re-elected by my colleagues to once again serve in this position,” Tauscher said in a prepared release.  “On November 4th, the American people sent a clear message for Congress to come together and solve problems.  I am eager to work with Speaker Pelosi and the new Obama administration to rebuild our economy, make healthcare more affordable, and move the United States to energy independence through innovation.”

Region 2 includes congressional districts 1-22 in Northern California and districts in Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, and American Samoa.

It isn’t much of an honor, but she is a team player.

  • Freak of the far right

She is waiting for DiFi to leave her Senate job so she can run for it or be appointed to it by a democrat governor.

Does Tauscher still maintain she is a moderate or Blue Dog Democrat?
