I bet all the people criticizing haven't even bothered to read a monitor's report so they don't even know how much progress Tucker made. But they are all experts. I'm sure they none of them at all could have had the fortitude and integrity to get the Internal Affairs department functioning so that Lt. Green could bring his complaint against Chief Tucker. Ironic for an individual who never truly believed in Internal Affairs process. Nor could any of them have had the fortitude to make the fight necessary so Oakland could get weekend coverage during it's peak crime periods. Nor bring the department up to 804 officers. BTW, anyone even bother noticing homicides have declined? No, just jump on the bash Tucker bandwagon. Wait all you bashers, soon it will be another police officer within OPD. The Tribune never touches the corrupt and dysfunctional council or management until the SF Chron exposes it. The Tribune now inflames where previously it informed.
