Garamendi is going to need a map to find his way around CD 10, he is completely unfamilair with Contra Costa County. His ties to thsi district are so flimsy it's just ridiculous. Basically he's a Sacramento based politician trying to hovercraft into a local race. According to the Times, some tree's on his property are part of the CD 10 district but his house isn't! That just underscores to me his ludicrously weak ties to this district. I'm backing Desaulnier, he's a local guy, he knows the issues, and he's being backed by Toralkson, Miller, Tauscher and numerous other local political leaders. I think Garamendi coming into this race is just ridiculous, he should hovercraft back to Sacramento.

We can no longer afford DeSaulnier's liberal spending attitude. Folks, if you haven't realized it yet, California is bankrupt. The liberal-socialist agenda of Sacramento has run out of your money.

DeSaulnier has consistently ignored the age old lesson that you can't legislate morality. He has been a proponent of every 'sin' tax imaginable.

He has continuously supported the invasion of California and undermined the support of American culture in face of the invaders. The congestion of our roads, courts, hospitals, schools, and prisons from non-citizens are a direct result of his work.

Have you noticed the lack of salmon this year? Our rivers used to be teeming with them. To be honest, I'm not sure about his record of voting on water usage agreements, but I am suspicious that he was in Sacramento during the critical years the problem was ignored.

He has pushed the issue of 'gay rights' to the forefront of his legislative work, and his focus on this social issue has been at great cost. We can no longer afford him in Sacramento, but it would be insanity to 'promote' to an even higher level of incompetence by sending him to Washington where he can wreak even greater damage.
