that would be a huge story, but it isn’t going to happen.

Harmer message doesn’t reach moderate democrats and indys. He ran a cookie cutter Republican campaign like he was in west Texas and not the East Bay.

He will do better than the reg. advantage though…low voter turn out is in his favor.

I am reading on some national political blogs today that this race could be close and that Harmer is polling higher than otherwise would be expected. If there is an upset here and Harmer wins, it would be a huge story.

I recently heard a rumor that Garamendi would still run for Governor after the special election for CD10. It seems hard to believe but at this point, I wouldnt put it past him.

Garamendi is a perennial candidate for any office. He’s run for Governor umpteen times, insurance commissioner, Lt. Gov. , the list goes on and on. You’ve heard of guys who will go out on a date with anything that moves? Garamendi runs for any office that moves, and his latest is the CD 10 seat, even though he has zero ties to the district. If elected he’ll start running for another job – probably US Senate – the minute he takes office. Contra Costan’s don’t need this Sacramento based ringer to represent us in Washington.
