Ideally they are: (a) to be legally referred to as “Mrs. & Mrs,” giving their squeaking bed springs equal legitimacy under the law; (b) if one stays home and the other works the one who stays home can legally demand money and child support from the one who works when they legally split up; and, (c) although putting up the toilet seat is not required, it can still be cited by the one who stays home as an “irreconcilable difference,” legally justifying her right to split from the one who works while demand a shit load of money and primary child custody rights.
