Better late than never… to have seen this highly relevant story for my congressional district and the country for that matter. Good thing Sen. Kyl does not have a vote in our state budget process as it is rancorous enough.

Quite simply; Ellen, George and Jerry voted YEA on Supplemental Appropriations Roll Call #348, Funding of Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, $106 Billion. This Bill passed 226-202, with most Republicans voting NAY, as well as Democrats Speier, Stark, Waters, Watson, Woolsey, and Kucinich. A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money. War and Peace take no vacations.
