Outgoing Congresswomen Tauscher is not endorsing John Garamendi to fill her seat. Few – if any – local Contra Costa elected officials are endorsing Garamendi. Check out Garamendi’s endorsements on his Garamendi for Congress web site. He’s got nobody local endorsing him! It’s embarrasing an incumbent LT. Governor could garner so little support in a run for Congress. Why is this happening? His bid to be the Congressman from the CD 10 district makes no sense, he doesn’t live here, he’s never lived here. Contra Costa County doesn’t need an out-of-town ringer
from the congested smog-choked Sacramento Valley to represent us in DC. It’s a no- brainer. CD 10 voters are very sophisticated, no way they will go for Garamendi. His wacky campaign to represent an area he’s never lived in, and doesn’t know anything about, just smacks of desperation. He’s an out-of-town hustler setting up a temporary tent-show in our couinty, it’s not going to fly.
