The California Republican Party entered the TV ad wars over the state budget today with buys in the Los Angeles, Fresno and Sacramento markets.

The party either didn’t have the cash or chose not to bother with educating television viewers in the Bay Area. But I wouldn’t want you to feel left out.

Here are the ads:

I’ve heard some Howard Jarvis budget spots on Bay Area radio.

Anyone who watches TV (Other than CCTV, the CSPAN’s, or the Cal Channel) of course needs educating. The best Bay Area News comes from the Times, or Internet Blogs. Then too, the Bay Area has a few educational
spots like UC Berkeley, or Stanford. Why should the GOP waste their money on ads, when all these people are unemployed, and therefore don’t pay income taxes, or for that matter, don’t have any educated members in the State Legislature any more. They could advertize on radio that CA must hand out IOUs in 19 hours.
