Garamendi takes it with 26%. Results are almost exactly in line with the pre-election polling. Buchanan gets 6300 votes for $1 million spent. That’s $135 per vote.

Just a tad silly. While we all applaud our Contra Costa….even Alameda firefighters and the work they do, its a bit silly to hold up an election because 35 of them are out of town. Where do you draw the line? If Chelsey Sullenberger has to land a burning plane in New York do we keep the polls open until he gets done?

All joking aside, come home safe all of you.
