Yeah, with the help of food stamps, welfare, Medi-Cal, and community college. How far up would he have been able to pull without government help? Why isn’t this person a Democrat?

I’d recommend Roxy for Campaign Manager for any of these candidates. That would inprove Jerry’s chances.

Elwood’s theory. Doubt it, but it’s still a fun theory to contemplate. Maybe Pombo will jump back in.
Has the GOP national congressional campaign team recruited any of these people. Given that taking back the 11th is supposedly a high priority for them, you’d think they would be proactive about annointing somebody. Of course, that didn’t work out too well for DeSaulnier!
