But, if elected, Brown could surprise us. At his age, he's got no other political ambitions or any need to soft-peddle his agenda for the sake of getting re-elected for a second (er, make that fourth term). In dealing with the Dems in the zoo we call a legislature, he could do the equivalent of Nixon going to China -- tell them and the interest groups who own them to cut the crap, get real and do what's right for the state for a change.
