John Nejedly has done a great job as a board member for the Contra Costa Community College District. This is not really a political job, it’s a job of the heart.
There are endless boring board meeting and the board members get paid practically nothing. But the educational opportunties CCCD provides – especially to low income people – are just incredible. Given his longtime service to this great community college district – the finest in the state – I think John Nejedly would make a fine candidate for Assesor. The fact that he’s has some personal problems in the past shouldn’t disqualify him for this office. As I recall Federal Glover had some personal problems as well in his past, but he’s turned out to be a fine Supervisor. I wish John Nejedly good luck in his campaign.

Seems like a long shot, considering the baggage and lack of any qualifications for the job. Hard to run on “the name,” if the family patriarch disinherited you.
