It is amazing how there are naive Bay Area liberals that have been conned by well crafted Palestinian propaganda into supporting a far right and oppressive theocracy in Gaza. At the moment, Hamas uses Mafia-like tactics to consolidate their control over Gaza, including using the distribution of food and medicine trucked in by Israel as an instrument of control. Its rather amusing that while these mis-guided Bay Area folks with high speed internet access, believe the Hamas lies about “starving Gazans”, without ever bothering to look at the Palestine Times on line with its color photos of the lush food markets in Gaza, the Gaza Commodore Hotel etc. Think for yourselves, don’t be patsies!

The “increased repression” is the result of Hamas, a classicly fascist organization. Since Hamas’s violent takeover of Gaza, we’ve seen the firebombing of Christian institutions, and the torture and murder of Christian leaders. We’ve seen the murder and torture of political dissidents. We’ve seen the emergence of Saudi-style vice and virture squads, arresting women for having their hair uncovered at the beach!
There is no “occupation” of Gaza- the only Israeli left in Gaza is named Gilad Shalit, and he’s been held without even Red Cross visittaion for three years, in violation of his Geneva Convention rights.

The theme of this march should be “Free Gaza From Hamas!”

Gaza Freedom marchers are a bunch of useful idiots. But they probably won’t realize it until their daughters must wear burquas and their sons choose to go after the 72 Virgins for killing infidels

I fail to read anything in this article that supports the idea of a “peace march.” As for “freedom” in Gaza, how do Christian churches fare? (Forget about synagogues!) Presumably, the SF activists will be unarmed. “Hamas” and “peace” go together like “suicide bombers” and “human rights.”
