A few hrs. ago i spoke with a Haitian woman who lives in Brooklyn and was a caregiver for my aunt for several yrs. She has been unable to contact anyone in her family, and i can only think how many Haitians have contributed to Americans in roles such as Jeannie did for my elderly relative and myself. Now, we must give back. Thanks for the eloquent reminder.
