This unfounded accusation is reprehensible, even for Washington, DC. Pete Stark is that very rare thing: an honest politician. I’m not in the least surprised that he was cleared of this sleazy attempt at character assassination.

He can’t very well represent us if he spends all his time in Fremont. If he did, you’d probably say he’s lazy and that it’s time for a change come November.

Based on the information posted here, it sounds like the OCE is the party that needs to be investigated. Again, going by what I see here, this wasn’t even a gray area. Whatever one thinks of Stark’s politics, it seems like he 100% observed both the letter and intent of the law.
