Attorney and former Superior Court Judge Dan O’Malley has a substantial financial lead over his two competitors in the race for Contra Costa County District Attorney.
O’Malley reported collecting $109,614 in contributions as of Dec. 31, 2009.
Trailing well behind are private attorney Elle Falahat with $41,26 and Deputy District Attorney and Concord Councilman Mark Peterson with $38,279. Falahat originally loaned her campaign $50,000 but has repaid it; Peterson has given his campaign an additional $200.
Contributors to O’Malley and Peterson’s campaigns are what you would expect — lots of attorneys and business leaders. Among them, Albert and Sandra Seeno of the famed Seeno homebuilder family and one of his companies, gave Peterson $4,350. Falahat’s donors read like a list of who’s who in the Iranian community including $1,000 from the Washington, D.C.-based Iranian American Political Action Committee.
The three declared candidates are running in the June election to replace retiring District Attorney Bob Kochly.

Where can I find a list of contributors to these candidates?

Interesting that Seeno has contributed to Peterson. Considering the recent raid on Seeno HQ by IRS/FBI etc I wonder if this will have a negative impact on his campaign?
