Fact not opinion: According to the Contra Costa County Clerk’s website, on 04/05/10 there were 261,652 registered Democrats, 134, 831 registered Republicans, and 124,714 perosns registered otherwise. By 04/24/10 the registrants had increased by 450 Democrats, 168 Republicans, and 362 regerstered otherwise.
