In 2008 the Supreme Court said that the Second Amendment secures “the individual right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation.” What part of right-to-carry does Asemblywoman Saldana not understand?

It’s safe to say there have been zero “abuses”. If there were, the news up and down the state would be screaming about it, and perhaps even for the immediate ban of all guns because criminals were open carrying them. But they aren’t, and no police reports have been made public, probably because they don’t exist.

Federal government and private peer-reviewed research shows that criminals do not want the extra scrutiny, and conceal ~100% of the time, the remaining percentage pointing and/or shooting at people.

It’s unfortunate that the CA legislature doesn’t require sworn testimony, because if it did, Saldana and her merry band of traitors would all be found guilty of perjury. They need to stop disarming victims on behalf of criminals (giving aid and comfort to domestic enemies of the U.S.)
