Well, we always knew the state legislators had rocks in their heads. I, for one, will sleep much better at night, knowing that the legislature has addressed this critical issue. So, Gloria, you rock!

You might want to check the bill's history: The Senate passed SB624 May 18th last year, when the bill was about composting. Romero gutted and stuffed the Senate-passed bill and snuck it through the Assembly, but the "amended" bill has not gone back to the Senate yet.

Thank you for airing this issue. One comment though, the Senate never actually voted on serpentine. The bill they passed was about definitions of anaerobic composting. A day later Romero switched out that language, and put in the serpentine language. I had no idea that sort of thing could be done.
