I have similar thoughts as expressed by Mr. Nichols, though not so eloquently presented…:-) First, where does money flow from, if not by the exchange of services for goods. Meaning we all have to work to pay for goods produced by a manufacture, business or other that we puchase goods from through the exchange of labor for income; and the cycle goes on and on. So, what good is it if legislature is put into place to clean up the air, that forces businesses to close their doors and people to lose their jobs, only to beg, borrow or steal to feed their starving faces? Politicians of today are like leeches, that feed off of tax payors with legilative powers. They act as though they are acting upon our behalf, but always with ulterior scheming and conniving motives.. Politicians, and yes I’m referring to senators, congressmen, legislators and others are on par with that of a used car salesman. All selling and pedaling programs and agendas to keep their “I owe ya / scratch my back” fund supporters happy and satisfied; while we the common folk are led to slaughtered by higher taxes and legislative constraints. As these wanna be civil servant do gooders, if they would all pass on getting paid for their services or giving up half of their tax paid jobs to fight for whoever and whatever policy, bill, law they are fighting for? Bet their wouldn’t be many takers. Or how would they respond, if the laws they passed would potentially end their sorry existence of pretense servitude? Fact is we need to eat and drink to survive, above breathing pristene air and AB 32 will not radically help to improve that for CA or for the world; nor will the passing of Measure 23 stop the current clean air bills in place from maintaining our air quality. It will, however, insure that we don’t lose any more businesses in CA; followed by subsequent job losses. The reason that CA and the rest of the states, along with our Fed government, are facing an economic cesspool of woes, is because governments does not follow the same rules that they expect us a people to follow… ie. deficit spending, trickle down economics and ZIRP just to name a few. People of this great country, we need to wake up and clean house, and it needs to start with government. You’re right Ron, government doesn’t pay our bills, but somehow there are alot of folk out there that believe they do. They just forget that it’s us, the working taxpayer that is truly paying the welfare and socialist systems that our government has so generously decided to create and support with our tax dollars. We all could go on and on, but fact is, something has to change and hopefully soon and hopefully for the benefit of 25% of working Americans who pay taxes…

With all due respect to these individuals who are in love with global warming, cap in trade also know as the david Rothschilds / Al Gore con game, think they are so smart
in trying to fool us that we need this crap, I say no, to there one world order type of
implementalism, oh europe is doing this, europe is doing that, this is America folks
and we do things differently here, stop this stupid shit of pandering to these bunch so called intelligent people they are not, they have an agenda at your exspence, they
will making the money while we the people are paying the bill so yes please vote on prop 23 and say screw you to all these so called do gooders you don’t pay my bills
end of story Yes one more word California has done some very stupid shit in passing
some very stupid laws don’t look to us for any bright idea’s
