Glad GM likes small business. Word of warning: Don’t be too successful and grow big, ’cause GM won’t like you anymore. BTW, why do elected officials get in cheaper than non-members? The only thing most pols know about profits is how to tax ‘em.

RR — Champion of capitalism that you are, surely you understand the notion of charging less to members, who support the council with their hefty dues and make events of this type possible. I’m not a member but attended the recent panel on public pensions. As a non-member, I paid extra; but it was well worth it. I presume electeds get in cheaper, because the council wants them to participate, so long as they pay enough to cover the food.
