I usually dont leave comments but these other ones are simply annoying and down right rude. Give these folks the respect they deserve. I many not agree with everything they say but their dedication towards helping people live better in a fair and just way can’t be denied. Its 2010 people! don’t let money dictate your vote!

The unfortunate reality is that the folks who oppose the initiative will be the same poeple who will later ask the proponents to subsidize them when the chickens come home to roost — that is, the cost of implementing AB 32, GHG reductions and the renewable portfolio standard (33% of all energy will be required to come from renewable resources). No one is covering the fact that the California Energy Commission has approved so far this year nearly $15 billion in new solar and wind generation projects. Now, if these are built (assumng the enviro community and social justice folks that asked for them don’t sue to stop the projects) — the ratepayers will eventually have to pay for the rate shock we will all experince in CA. Sobering isn’t it.

Green is the new red, being but another rationale for those already so inclined to see themselves as rightful masters of the universe entitled to control the lives of other people and dole out other people’s money according to their liking, with identity politics now being a chief criteria. How is it that left-wing extremists, and to be sure that’s what most of these organizations and people represent, are not identified as such, instead being bestowed the title of “human-rights activists.” Here’s the list:
