Social networking meets the election

Two press releases dropped into my in-box this week advertising sites that mesh social networking with the election.

  1. Topix launched Election 2010: Citizen Sound-Off which it describes as a “set of tools that facilitate discussion about, and provide insights on, local candidates and elections – from school board to gubernatorial races.”
  2. Circle Voting described itself as the “first website that offers the opinions of your Facebook friends conveniently organized by your own sample ballot.”

Check them out and let me know if they are any good.

And here’s the Circle Voting cartoon they sent over. It’s clever.
