@Elwood & RR,Uninvited Columnist: I find a bit of irony in your critiques of these “self-serving,” “contribution-less” statements. If only your masterful contributions to the blogosphere had any real impact (I say real since I believe Ms. Bobbie Lee was reelected with 80+ percent of the vote) other than taking up space in what appears to be a lackluster day.

Memo to Rep. Lee: Quit yapping and do some real work. Everybody wants an end to disease, a healthy environment and peace. And what have you contributed to any of these causes besides self-serving press releases? Answer: Next to nothing. I really “groove” on your statements that taxing the wealthy helps the jobless, a “majority” of the people do not “support” the Afghan intervention, and, best yet, your constituents need to “discover” how you can help them!
