Ms. Tauscher is nothing more than a socialite who bought her way into public office — a “rich -itch”. She owes her current position merely to the fact that she is an “FOH” (Friend of Hillary). Doesn’t anyone remember that Tauscher won public office in 1996 claiming to be a “child care expert”? What did she do about child care policy once elected? Then she proudly was known as a “Wall Street Democrat.” What did Tauscher do in the public interest with her so-called Wall Street expertise? She championed and “cheerled” the laissez faire policies that led to the Great Recession. Did anyone ever hear Tauscher publicly proclaim at any time, “I know from working on Wall Street that the financial services bubble is over-inflated! We need regulation now!” Now Tauscher fancies herself to be a nuclear arms expert. God save us and the rest of the world if she messes this one up, too.

I’m very proud to have known Ellen today, visited her at home in Alamo, and invited to her thank you party at Diablo Country Club. She succeeded in these accomplishments much out of the sight of the public.
