The real shame is that they claim to be for “peace”; however, ask JVP and Sabeel leaders if they support peace between a Jewish state of Israel and an Arab state of Palestine– they will say a lot of things in response, but they won’t say “yes”.

Say “NO” to fake peace groups. Say “Yes” to Peace.

BART chief spokesman Linton Johnson said that his agency had reviewed both the “Be on our side” and the StandWithUs advertisements and found that both fell within BART’s policy. “They did raise red flags,” Johnson said. “We reviewed them, they fell within our policies, and so we were required to accept them.”

BART’s advertising content guidelines say the agency won’t allow any ads it deems demeaning, disparaging or deceptive; ads for tobacco, alcohol, firearms, adult goods or services, or illegal goods or services; ads containing profanity, graffiti, inappropriate graphics, depictions of violence, libelous speech, copyright infringement, obscenity, nudity, or prurient sexual or anatomical language; or anything that implies BART’s endorsement or is “injurious to BART and its mission.”
