Libya is not a “nation” but a collection of tribal areas cobbled together first by the Ottoman Empire and then, with limited success, by the Italians between 1911 and 1943. The Senussi monarchy was created largely by the Allies after Italy’s defeat as a reward for their assistance in the fighting. The king’s greatest crime, in the view of leader Quadafi (or however you wish to spell it), was accepting the miitary presence of the UK and the US on Libyan soil. Before the discovery of oil (which the Italians never found) Libya was ranked as one of the world’s poorest nations. It was oil wealth that enabled Quadafi to assume a place on the world stage. As for Tom Dee, his screed indicates a deep commitment to the Berkeley/ al-Jazeera worldview.

It is official. If Tom Lantos was involed then Libya is all about operation clean break which is white paper written by Richard Perl of our defense department for the Likud political party of Israel. It called for revolution in all the middle east except for Israel. It called for armed aggression about several specific arab nations. Tom Lantos was a complete puppet for the zionist movement and he often got involved in matters that he as a representative of the people of California should not have been involved in. It is clear why California is such a basket case when they elected people who ignore the needs of the people of California and spend all their time supporting a foreign nations. Now that California is broke I am sure the people of California could use some of the billions that Tom Lantos help send to Israel. I am sure that many mothers of California residents will be buring their children because of Representative Lantos a man who showed little interest in the people of the United States but knew how to get speical interest to give him a buck to live the good life. Little good can be said about representative Lantos other than he is gone but clearly the trouble he help create will be around for many funerals.

QADHAFI is a menace to humanity. The Libyan nation have spoken loud and clear that is enough of 42 years repressive and and reign of terror. Also, the Libyan people want Qadhafi and his cronies removed and destroyed like a cancer. Qadhafi and his family have no place to live among us in Libya! They do not represent the Libya.
