Boulanger loses CCT endorsement

Revelations over the weekend that Hercules recall candidate Gerard Boulanger exaggerated his resume has led the Contra Costa Times editorial board to withdraw its endorsement.

That doesn’t happen very often.
As a practical matter, as the editorial points out, Boulanger will win if incumbent Don Kuehne is recalled. Boulanger is the only candidate. But he will have a lot of making up to do if he wins the seat. As the old saying goes, it takes a lot of ‘Atta-boys’ to make up for one ‘Oh, shit!’
