Hey, Garamendi did a great job of naming the whales that got lost in the Sacramento River. The Lt. Gov. has no power, staff or portfolio. Hard to criticize somebody for doing nothing, when doing nothing is pretty much the job description.

Newsom has been very critical of his Democratic predecessor Lt. Gov. “Live Shot” Garamendi for doing next to nothing concerning economic development. Garamendi made much of his ex-officio role as Chair of the California Economic Development Commission when he ran for Congress in 2009, but the reality is that Garamendi literally had no economic development plan, despite holding the Lt. Gov. office for nearly three years. He only cared about “economic development” when it got him air time and a nifty title for his resume. Typical of “Live Shot” Garamendi — all talk and hot air, no substance.
