Why is there no mention of Mike Hudson running for AD11 in this or any other article? He was the first to announce his campaign for this seat, is the only Republican in the race and, in my opinion, one of the strongest candidates. I feel if you’re going to promote your website as informative to voters, you should include ALL candidates.

Part-time legislature makes sense. When full-time, they get in the way of good lobbyists trying to write legislation. They just need to come back into session perodically to rubber stamp what the lobbyists tell them to pass.

Two-year budget cycle = part-time legislature, a goal of many conservative Republicans. I suppose we got Abel Maldonado to permit these Republicans-In-Independents’ clothing to run while hiding their true colors.
