Ron Paul won the tax-cutting competition on Monday night’s debate. When all five of the remaining candidates were asked what the top income tax rate should be, Rick Perry said 20% flat tax, others said some variation on 25 or 28%, and Ron Paul said zero. These are the same guys saying we need a balanced budget amendment and, except for Ron Paul, a bigger military budget. I’d love to see their math doodles on this.

Isn’t it sad that the President, VP and First Lady come to the Bay Area merely to vacuum up money from the “1%” and don’t even bother to mingle with the 99%? Can’t they at least stop their “royal” motorcades to meet real people? Jet in, vacuum up the loot and jet out.
