This is what happens when the CRP steps in and endorses a candidate pre-primary when the county party committees within the district are split. Tehama endorsed their own, local boy and County Supervisor, Bob Williams. The CRP should not endorse when there’s a dispute at the local level. Hmmm, sounds like a violation of a Republican philosophical position – the best gov’t is gov’t closest to home! Local control. Remember, Tom DB?

Mr Richman,
I find it ironic that you only sought information from one source for your blog. The real issue is based around the failure of the Chairman and the Board of Directors not following the procedures set forth in the CRP Bylaws. If you want “the rest of the story” I suggest that you check with someone on the Tehama County Republican Central Committee and find out what the “tiff” is really about.
