The War starts at home teaching kids and members of family what the drugs are about. Every family should have that war at home. If every family does its part, I do not think we’d be having this discussion now. And yes, I support medical marijuana for ill people, and not for recreation. Congress should act and start a debate about medical marijuana. Same thing happend with alcohol, congress decided to legalize it. Why not Medical marijuana, when is less harmful than alcohol ?

i will give 50$ to any person who finds someone who has overdosed on thc alone or died from its use alone….. yet 10′s of millions die a year from tobacco and alcohol. and tobacco and alcohol does not cure basal cell carcinoma, or treat aids symtoms or allleviate crohns disease, i just wish all opponents of MMJ could feel the pain of crohns disease, its is hell on earth

It’s true. Stupid weed makes people stupid & lazy. The war against weed started in the late 1960′s. How many $trillions has the war cost? Now more young people than ever are smoking weed, according to the CC Times. Isn’t the war on weed stupid? PBS just ran a series on alchohol’s prohibition. It showed how much prohibition helped organized crime.

I’m in the distinct minority,but I agree with the crackdown. We’ve made a farce of the medical marijuana legalization people voted for. Complete with sham doctors, a pot industry trade school making out like it’s Harvard, and pot shops springing up everywhere, catering mostly to very healthy young adult males. The medical profession should be suspending the licenses of the “doctors” who issue “prescriptions” on the spot, no questions asked.
