It’s a pity the same doesn’t apply to what Afghans think. We might as well put up billboards announcing “Welcome Back Taleban! We Miss You!” outside our bases and newly opened (and soon to be shuttered) girls’ schools. Maybe her next resolution will advocate withdrawing police from Fruitvale and some chunks of Oaktown since they haven’t been pacified, either.
