You apparently haven’t seen those drawings of your cavemen ancestors dragging their women with one hand and holding a club with the other. Myth or reality? I wouldn’t know. But I’m pretty sure Jerry is not “pro-rape.” Wonder who dug up a novel from an obscure Congressman from 1994?

Good thing Jerry didn’t quit his day job to write novels.

Ricky Gill seems like one of those kids who try to wear Daddy’s clothing at an absurdly young age. Every time I see him I think of the end of that 1980s Tom Hanks movie “Big” in which his character shrinks back to a child in his oversized adult clothes. So does Eric Swilwell. Gill and Swilwell are like two overgrown high school student body presidents who think it would be “fun”, “neat” and “so cool” to be elected to Congress. (It’s Congress, then Senate, then President! Be nice to me on my way up or I’ll hold it against you when I’m in the Oval Office!) A couple of children trying to act like adults — not the type of people I’d like to see making decisions about warfare and fiscal policy. Sadly, the modern Congress is so lacking in statesmen and real leaders that Swilwell and Gill would fit right in if the voters are foolish enough to elect them.
