Garamendi lives in a palatial home in the Delta (so big that it infamously is in two congressional districts, as he has repeatedly claimed). He allegedly made boatloads of $$$ as “Washington, DC investment partner” from 1998-2001, yet he refuses to explain to anyone what he actually did for Yucaipa Co. Look at

A bunch of union cronies likely will bail “Live Shot” out. The 2014, 2016, etc. elections could be tough for him as district residents figure out that he really doesn’t give a darn about them (too busy bloviating on MSNBC) and the Davis crowd figures out that he’s no “progressive”. Once people figure out his role in the Exec Life scandal (where he essentially admitted to being grossly negligent as state insurance commissioner), he’d be lucky if he got elected dogcatcher anywhere.
