I recall he advised former President Bush to cut taxes – for the wealthy – giving them tax rebates they didn’t need and barely noticed they were getting. The previous President – Clinton – had the budget balanced, the economy boomed, and the US was on a roll. I now just tune out guys like Rove, Ginginch, Romney – these guys are all multi-millionaires, they speak this “cut taxes” mantra all the time, they are just trying to put more money in thier own pockets, and money in the pockets of all these billionaires who finance all these PACS and special interest groups that fund them. If Rove wants to get the Republicans back on thier feet he needs to start explaining why the top 1% now get 20% of US wealth, when they got just 8% in 1960. The Republican party is in shambles because of the fairness issue, we got people working all day long making 75 bucks a day and they are paying less taxes than these plutocrats who draw down 20% of the national wealth.
