The answer is: No, not this year.

Berkeley d. Encinal: The visiting Yellow Jackets beat the Jets in four games to win an Alameda Contra Costa Athletic League playoff and earn the league’s automatic berth in the North Coast Section playoffs.

Berkeley (21-7) was led by Megan Hourula’s 12 kills and four blocks. Yejide Najee-Ullah had nine kills and two blocks and Natalie Gaber added seven kills and two blocks.

For Encinal (15-4), Cahery Gutierrez had 10 kills, three blocks and two digs and Phoebe Bautista had 12 kills and three blocks.
