Oh, well. We pulled a sophomore off the end of the bench to play middle and she had shin splints! Started slow as a team but kept up with SRV for the rest of the match. Lots of drama and noise. We’re graduating three solid starters, don’t expect to land in your top ten next year. Really enjoyed your volleyball coverage on the web.

Strong Block, defends the power game well, Natalie Erdman (senior) best hitter, Stacey Redmond (3 year varsity starter-junior) strong in middle, this is their year to make a run in the playoffs.

Seems like Bishop O’Dowd doesn’t get the coverage or respect they deserve. They have a lot of talent and it is time they got credit for it.

So whats so difficult Ricardo? The Northgate tournament totally cleared up the poll and NCS seeding . Amador Valley, the #1 team gets upset early, Carondelet the #2 team in the poll gets beat by Castro Valley, #9, Deer Valley #3 gets beat by #4 Bishop O’Dowd, unranked Washington takes Las Lomas.
So Bishop O’dowd is #1 right? But wait, they lost to Carondelet at Castro Valley Tournament. So its Deer Valley? Or still Amador?
This is a great time for womens volleyball in the East Bay – lots of very, very good teams, all capable of being the best on any given day. I can’t wait till playoffs start!
