NCS softball game change

One issue left unresolved at the conclusion of yesterday’s NCS 3A softball meeting was where No. 8 Berkeley and No. 9 Granada will play their first round game. I’ve been told this morning that the game, originally thought to be played at Cal’s Levine-Fricke Field, will now be played at Granada tomorrow at 5 p.m. Cal made it through the Fresno regional and will be practicing tomorrow, which means the Yellow Jackets now have to travel to Livermore.

4:30 p.m. update: If you’ve checked the NCS web site lately, you know this already but the College Park-California game, originally slated for 4 p.m., will be at 5 p.m. just like most of the other games. The only late game tomorrow night is Livermore vs. Clayton Valley at Robertson Park in Livermore. That game starts at 7.
