But the point is more that in his first game action since the Silver Bowl in 2004, he provided easily the best QB play of the day and looked quite a bit like what he was expected to be coming out of Mack. Now he should have two years of starting for the Spartans to really prove how good he can be. But I would caution anybody against judging him too much on what he does next week against Nebraska. That’s just too big a mismatch, but who knows.
