Interesting that Novato had trouble tackling against VC because defense has been the strength of that team over the years.

Two years ago, after giving up 21 points to Foothill in a 21-3 loss, the Hornets only gave up 24 points the rest of the SEASON. After that loss they started what ended up being a 25-game winning streak (that included a 25-22 win over Foothill last year) which was finally snapped at the DII bowl game last year against Oceanside.
