Anyone hear anything on Tennyson running back T.J. Ner. Last I heard he was out with a knee injury.
September 24th, 2008 at 4:40 pm
No Huddle,
I talked with Tennyson coach Terry Smith on Monday and he said that Ner canceled his MRI appointment because the knee was better. Not sure if he started practicing yet, but that is good news. I will keep you updated if I hear anything else.

Ner will dress this week and possibly get playing time but will return next

Top two games to watch this week:
1. SL vs. CAL
2. Arroyo vs Newark Memorial
These games should be exciting to watch.

Haal Player,
Would agree with SL vs. Cal seems neither team can slow down anyone. Could be a wide open exciting game.

Totally agree with SL vs Cal but i have no idea how Arroyo vs Newark Memorial would be a good game. I saw Arroyo barely squeak by a so-so Irvington squad. Had irvington stuck it out with “the bone” the score would have been different in my opinion.

Irvington is not a so-so squad and I think this year they have a good chance to win the Mval. The same goes for Arroyo. We will know more about both teams after this weekend.

No Huddle, Irvington is off to a great start. But let’s take a look at the two wins, Mt. Diablo and Livermore. Those are two of the worst teams in their respective leagues.
A real test will come against clayton Valley.
And I doubt Irvington will win the MVAL title. I’ve seen Newark, Logan, Washington, Mission and Irvington. I don’t think Irvington has enough to beat Logan, Newark or Washington. But we’ll see. That’s why they play the games.
