Listen around the 2:12 mark of this video. That voice in the background is Cal High coach Tony Sanchez during a drill for the linebackers. If you ever want to watch some great coaching, check out Sanchez at Cal High practices.
I am convinced this program will always be on top as long as he is there. He also has some very entertaining comments he throws out at the kids.
My favorite thus far: “I am nuts. I don’t care if it takes two hours. You are going to do this drill until you get it right.”

oh, so if they lose this game he is a bad coach and they still aren’t one of the best in the East Bay?? Are you kidding me? Even the best coaches don’t win them all (DLS will find that out Saturday night)

Also, I think the same about Brad Bowers at San Leandro. He will keep the Pirates on top as long as he is there.

Actually, yes, I was kidding. No doubt Bowers and Sanchez are two of the area’s best.
