  1. smoke-a-lot Says:

time for a coaching change at skyline! leading rusher at skyline only 2.2 yards a carry! evans the gravy train beam left u is gone step it up or step down.

  2. Cheese1216 Says:

Actually Castlemont’s Aaron Horne has 78 total points scored so far. After week 4 he had 62 pts and in week 5 against Tamalpais he scored 2 touchdowns (37yd TD pass and 69yd INT return) and also scored 2 (2pt) PAT’s.
This guy is easily the best player in Oakland and one of the most explosive players in the East Bay. the last 2 games teams will not even kick to him (all squib kicks and punts out of bounds). He might be the closest thing to Reggie Bush/Desmond Howard we have seen in these parts in a while.

  3. Jimmy Durkin Says:

Thanks Chese1216. That’s actually what I had him at in my stats file and I typed it in wrong here. It’s fixed now.

As for your comments about Aaron, no argument here. If the OAL had an MVP award my vote would be going to him.

if the oal had an mvp award my vote goes 2 castlemonts defense. they will shut down every teams running game. oal coach’s get your passing game right cause you aint running on the knights from the east side of da “o”

  5. lb050nit Says:

Agreed. Castlemont’s defense is top 5 strongest in the bay area. And #1 in the OAL definitley. Castlemont’s main RB is very good. They also have a RB that plays QB in some packages and he is very good too.

Cheese must not have seen Yonus Davis play. If he’s a Castlemont fan then he’ll remember the return Yonus had up on the hill in 2001 or 2002. Ask Lloyd Johnson. Yonus reversed field 3 times and covered about about 160 yards, running the Castle silly. Sick playground stuff. Too bad it got called back due to a penalty.
